Scope of work:
- Assess the techno-economic feasibility of various technology interventions for enhancing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption in the glass units and assess the creditworthiness of potential host enterprises which shall lead to the development of at least three bankable project proposals
- Preparation of baseline(s) and M&V protocols acceptable to borrowers and financial institutions followed by energy audit in three selected units
- Finalizing suitable financial structure for energy efficiency projects like source of funds, security mechanism and other terms and conditions of loans from financial institution/banks
- Assisting the concerned units in raising debt funds (loans) for identified projects
Five glass units were selected for energy audit. Three of them agreed to seek financial assistance from banks for implementing energy conservation measures identified through energy audit exercise. All necessary help was provided to these units in raising debt from banks operating is Firozabad.
