Objective:

The objectives of the activity in India in 2007 are to identify potential CDM project developers and develop Project Design Documents (PDDs) to support realization of CDM projects.
The main activities under this project are:

1. Identification of project developers with registered CDM project.

- to collect information on registered CDM projects in India (unilaterally) and to facilitate negotiation meeting(s) between Japanese Government carbon fund (NEDO) and project developer(s), who has registered project and is in the process of identifying credit purchasers

2.  Follow-up projects identified in FY 2006.

• Listing identified projects in IGES CDM capacity building activities until 2006
• Contacting the project developers to know current status on project development and intention to implement CDM
• Produce 1 PDD after IGES prioritize projects to be assisted by this activity
• Organize negotiation meeting(s) between NEDO and project developer(s)
