The research aimed at gathering the up-to-date and first hand information that is important for CDM project implementation in India, with a focus on identification of the CDM decision-making process and key players within and outside the government. Specific tasks included identification of key players in CDM related institutions and other information that project developers must be aware of and identification of industrial associations and main companies in the high potential sectors and their awareness/willingness to undertake CDM projects, including companies that have already planned/implemented CDM projects.
