RRECL has implemented a 10.2 MW (17x600kW) wind farm in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan and is keen on taking the wind power project through the CDM process and getting it registered as a CDM project activity. The project basically involves estimation of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) mitigation brought about by these projects, assessing the potential for being considered as a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project, estimating the revenue earning potential from sale of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) from these projects, assessing necessary data collection for baseline scenario, preparing the necessary documentation (PIN, PCN and PDD) required for the CDM projects as per UNFCCC guidelines, assisting RRECL during validation, Host Country approval, registration, verification and certification and identification of potential CER buyers from the developed countries for trading of CERs and entering into agreement for sale and purchase of CERs. |
